Acceptance of Change
Melina B is an employee at The Arc of Midland. She makes the office much more fun, and we love seeing her each day. Melina is authoring the blog, and “spilling the tea” about all sorts of things while sharing her perspective! Follow along as Melina posts each Monday for “Mondays with Melina.”
Change is never easy, but at The Arc of Midland, we believe no one should have to face it alone. The people we serve and those who work here are part of a community that stands together through life's transitions. Whether it’s adjusting to something new or navigating unexpected challenges, the people at The Arc of Midland are dedicated to helping others embrace change in a way that feels supportive and empowering.
Melina’s reflection on accepting change reminds us that it can create other opportunities and makes us look to our support systems. With the right support, everyone can thrive, knowing they have people that help them work through things. Together, we’re not just accepting change—we are becoming stronger.
Without further ado, let’s hear from Melina!
“We all have to accept changes in the world because if we don't then it becomes a health problem. I myself am not a fan of change. Sometimes it takes a minute to accept a change, sometimes changes can be a good change or not expectily and we all need to take the time to Appreciate them. For example if its gonna snow and we all don't like winter the best part getting comfy. Sometimes we all accept the good things about changes is a way of GOD is challenging our brains if we don't Accept changes in life were will be lonely and our wellbeing will not be Good. But if we all accept Changes it makes our wellbeing good. If we don't accept changes of life, our wellbeing will be down the drain, Its very very good accept changes Because we're all stronger in everyday life. Because of it, it makes our community better place for everybody if we all do Teamwork of the community !
Thanks”
