Nails

Melina B is an employee at The Arc of Midland. She makes the office much more fun, and we love seeing her each day. Melina is authoring the blog, and “spilling the tea” about all sorts of things while sharing her perspective! Follow along as Melina posts each Monday for “Mondays with Melina.”

At The Arc, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves and thrive. Melina’s passion for nail care is a great example of how self-expression and small acts of self-care can enhance well-being and confidence. Today Melina wanted to talk about something she loves doing. She takes time for herself and knows this helps her well-being as this makes her feel great! These moments are about more than just beauty—they’re about feeling good and empowered. Her routine reflects the purpose we strive for at The Arc of Midland: to empower individuals to live fully and with pride. Through Melina’s posts, she reminds us of the people we serve, showing how everyone finds strength and joy in their own way.

Without further ado…

“My nails are awesome, I love them when they are not chipped. Sometimes is difficult to find a good color, I do what I want, my favorite is Mood Nails. The best part, i dont do alot dishes or Gardening, where they get chipped. It is good making sure you clean underneath your Nails, i love my nails done, i have strong Nails. I sometimes take a break and let them Breathe. My Friend used to sell Colorstreet sticker nails with No Drytime, I had tons of them. I loved the glowin the dark, and the Holiday patterns. They are awesome, my mom and my staff did them for me. I was picky on how they went on and did not like it when they went on wrong or tear. I need to get more of those. I would change my nails everyday if I could.”
